Has it Been That Long?
Oh my goodness! It's been ages! I don't know about you, but life never ever seems to be any less crazy busy!
This year has been crazy and as upside down as last year - actually, if I'm brutally honest, it's been more upside down.
And I'm not just talking about COVID - Melbourne went back into its 6th lockdown in the middle of the year and finally emerged only quite recently - and here we are, life on the other side of lockdown, with plenty of COVID around but decent numbers of vaccinated people which is something.
But it certainly leaves a wake of destruction in its path.
So, I've been sharing some snippets and hints along the way of my latest project.
If anyone had said that this little pocketbook would take 18 months to see the light of day, I would have said they were dreaming. But it has. And this is in part a consequence of some of the upsidedown things I mentioned.
And the thing is, ironically, this is why I persisted with the project.
My headspace was in a really bad way, and I knew I had to either walk away from everything or find a way to be able to cope.
I don't think details are necessary, but to make the point, one of those things this year has been a fear for my safety and the safety of the people I love. This is a whole other book I could write. And certainly an unexpected cause I now feel very strongly about. But I'll save that for another time.
Introducing Safe Haven
But this is one of the reasons I wrote my little pocketbook - to share with others the tools I found useful to create 'safe space' mentally, physically and emotionally.
So without further ado, I am super excited to announce- FINALLY - the launch of my new book - Safe Haven: A Pocketbook of Peace and Well-being for Uncertain Times!
I'm including a link so you can find out more about the pocketbook there.
And just to let you know, I have paperback available, and also PDF and EPUB.
